The world’s only international conference for Life Skills professionals, P20 Talks, is coming to San Francisco – October 23rd – 25th 2026. Held biannually on alternating continents, P20 Talks champions 21st-century education for 21st-century Life Skills.
Life Skills, as defined by Parenting 2.0, are the “skills every human being learns.”
P20 Talks dynamic (Ted Talk type) presentations focus on Life Skills used daily – Life Skills core to individuals and the communities they construct thriving. Panel topics include Environmental, Emotional, and Financial Literacy. Deon Basson
Deon Basson (B.Sc, B.Sc Hon, MBA) is a leading voice in communication, leadership, and human performance, working at the intersection of education, business, and extreme endurance sport. He is the Chairman of one of Africa’s most prominent AI companies and the CEO of reCInate, a highly successful communications company whose framework is used in both educational and business settings. Deon’s work focuses on one core idea: communication is not a soft skill; it is a foundational life skill that determines learning, leadership, and relationships.
Marlaine Cover
US-born Marlaine Cover is a Social Entrepreneur, Creator of The Life Skills Report Card and Founder of the international consciousness movement Parenting 2.0. Parenting 2.0 champions professional education for Life Skills used daily. Popularly known by her pen name “Mama Marlaine”, she is the best-selling author of Kissing the Mirror, Raising Humanity in the 21st Century, and serves as Board President for Parenting 2.0’s educational non-profit, The Global Presence.

Ed Goyette
Ed Goyette is a lifelong social entrepreneur, author, and TEDx speaker dedicated to helping families and communities thrive. He is the Founder of Major Choice, a mentorship-based career exploration program that helps students with disabilities uncover their strengths, build confidence, and create actionable plans for life after high school. Dr. Daniel Ibarrondo
Dr. Daniel Ibarrondo is a global specialist in the arena of DEIB (diversity, equity,
inclusion, and belonging). Currently, Dr. Ibarrondo advises colleges and universities in
the United States and Puerto Rico on systemic initiatives for program development and
student success in STEM and AI. His academic credentials include a Doctorate in
Jurisprudence (J.D.) from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law, an
Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Bilingual/Bicultural Education from Seton Hall
University, and a Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Technologies from
Pepperdine University. He obtained his leadership certification at Harvard University –
Institute of Educational Management.

As a visionary strategist, Dr. Ziadlou has led major initiatives in strategic planning, policy development, and the implementation of digital health, AI-enabled, and Telehealth projects, integrating technology with human-centered care to advance sustainable healthcare outcomes.
