Dr. Daniel Ibarrondo
Dr. Daniel Ibarrondo is a global expert in the arena of DEIB (diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging). He is deeply passionate about education, social justice, economic equity, and human rights. Currently Associate Dean and Professor at Cambridge College, in Massachusetts, United States, he advises institutions of higher education in academic program development, curriculum development, faculty professional development, external funding, federal regulatory matters, and regional accreditation matters.
His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fordham University, a Doctorate in Jurisprudence (J.D.) from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law, an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Bilingual/Bicultural Education from Seton Hall University, and a Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Technologies from Pepperdine University. He is a member of the Harvard University – Institute of Education Management Class of 2005.

Dr. Etel Leit
Dr. Etel Leit is an expert in the field of positive psychology and child development. With over 18 years of research and practical experience as the founder of SignShine, a child development center in Beverly Hills, she has dedicated her life to helping families and individuals improve their relationships through better communication and self-expression. As a professor, Dr. Leit teaches on the topics of relationships, developmental psychology and addiction. In addition to her private consultations, she is a sought-after keynote speaker at events and conferences around the world. Dr. Leit’s dedication to her work has earned her numerous appearances on national television, including features on NBC, KTLA, Fox, and WEtv, among others.
Dr. Leit has served as a commander in Israeli Intelligence, and holds degrees from Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Pepperdine University and Sofia University, including a Ph.D. in psychology. As an author and speaker, she has inspired thousands of people to change their lives and receive the love they want. Her latest book, “UnAddicted You,” offers solutions for releasing inner addictions and discovering one’s most magnetic self.

Dr. Tiffanie Noonan
Dr. Tiffanie Noonan is the Founder of EPIC Parenting through which she supports adults and children in developing the Social Emotional Literacy skills essential to living empowered, peaceful, inspired, and connected (EPIC) lives. A US-based Pediatrician and Certified Parenting Coach, Dr. Noonan also serves on the Board of Directors for The Global Presence. She lives in Summerville, SC with her husband and two sons.

Tamila dos Santos
Tamila dos Santos is the Founder of AfroImpacto Consulting and Training. AfroImpacto supports black Brazilians in developing the entrepreneurial skills essential to managing their own businesses. Tamila started her professional career as a Social Worker in 2016. Recognizing the disparity between economic opportunities afforded black Brazilians, and wanting to support greater inclusivity, she expanded into the role of Specialist in Social Innovation Management. She founded AfroImpacto in 2019. Afromipacto has helped nearly three thousand individuals throughout Brazil to date enhance their financial literacy and management skills through their trainings, courses and consulting.

Marlaine Cover, MPA
Marlaine Cover is a Social Entrepreneur, Creator of The Life Skills Report Card and Founder of the international consciousness movement Parenting 2.0. Parenting 2.0 champions professional education for Life Skills used daily and hosts the world’s only international conference for Life Skills professionals.
Popularly known by her pen name “Mama Marlaine”, she is the best-selling author of Kissing the Mirror, Raising Humanity in the 21st Century, and serves as Board President for Parenting 2.0’s educational non-profit, The Global Presence. The Global Presence has more than 400 Ambassadors around the globe, recognized for their trailblazing in the Life Skills arena.

Mayra Mezzomo, UFBA
Mayra Mezzomo is Co-founder of Múltiplas – a consulting network that works with the proposition and management of projects that connect brands and social impact, strengthening communities and minoritized groups. She has a Masters in Development and Social Management (UFBA) and is passionate about the connection between social innovation, territorial development, and brands with purpose. Her professional experience includes working as a Specialist in Social Innovation Management with the Amani Institute.
Mayra combines her training in the field of Corporate Communications with seven years of training in education and entrepreneurship for NGOs. She enjoys mentoring in projects supporting Social Finance and Coordinating Projects that reduce violence against women.

Janiana Mota
Janaina Mota found her educational and professional calling in 2019 when she started volunteer work at the Art of Living Organization. There she learned firsthand the benefits of Integrative and Complementary Practices in Mental Health, such as Yoga, Meditation and Breathing. Both for the general population, as well as police officers and incarcerated individuals. Having personally experienced gender and domestic violence, Janaina also obtained a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and started training others in self-defense.
Today, Janaina is developing an expanded self-defense program for women that incorporates all of these methodologies. As an internationalist, project manager and SDG enthusiast, she values the relevance of micro (human) development in achieving a more peaceful and equitable macro (world).

Ron Shuali
Ron Shuali is the creator of the internationally acclaimed Yogarate and Behavior Mastery systems. He holds a Master’s of Education specializing in Early Childhood, and is a best-selling author and motivational speaker. Blending his training in martial arts, yoga, reiki, professional wrestling and improv, he creates hilarious educational curriculums centered on mindfulness and personal safety.

- Farol da Barra – 230 meters away.
Barra Lighthouse is part of Santo Antônio da Barra Fort. Much more than a mandatory stop for selfies, this fortification houses the Nautical Museum of Bahia, which has a historical collection formed by objects from different eras, some of them submerged for up to 300 years, and which help to understand the relationship of man with the sea and Bahia with the Lighthouse.
- Pelourinho – 5 km away.
Pelourinho, located in the Historic Center of Salvador, is one of the most visited districts of the city. Its narrow, winding streets receive visitors from all over the globe and the locals themselves have a strong connection to the place. Its diverse bars, restaurants, shops, museums, theaters, galleries and churches are always lively.
- Mercado Modelo – 5 km away.
A yellow house in front of the All Saints Bay. A traditional postcard from Salvador. Located in the Comércio district, on Praça Visconde de Cayrú, Mercado Modelo is an important tourist attraction in the city. In the same region, other important points of Salvador are also located, such as the All Saints Bay itself, the Lacerda Elevator, Museum of Modern Art and City of Music of Bahia, Nautical Tourist Terminal, Primatial Basilica Cathedral of São Salvador and Casa do Carnaval da Bahia.
- Museu Geológico da Bahia – 2,5 km away.
Bahia Geological Museum (MGB) is home to one of the largest fossil and mineral collections in Bahia, divided into thematic exhibitions that provide a geological time trip and show in its more than 20 thousand pieces the state’s mineral heritage. Its facilities and collections are similar to some of the best geoscience museums in Europe and the United States.
- Museu Carlos Costa Pinto – 2,5km away.
Inaugurated in November 1969 in one of the noblest avenues of the city – Corredor da Vitória -, Carlos Costa Pinto Museum houses permanent and temporary exhibitions, cultural and educational agenda, and formative activities, collections and a library specialized in decorative arts.
