Roger Frame, Ph.D. is known as The Conflict Whisperer®. His book, Don’t Carve the Turkey with a Chainsaw: Resolving Family Conflict was the winner of the 2012 National Indie Excellence Awards “Relationship” category. He states that one style of conflict resolution for all situations is no more appropriate than one style of clothing for all situations. He also discloses why conflict escalates during the teen years, and delivers powerful tips and techniques to resolve the conflicts we all face. As the President of Frameworks 4 Learning, LLC, and PineStar Publishing, he consults and conducts workshops across the United States on interpersonal conflict resolution issues.
Roger was one of the first individuals certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Family Mediator, and was President of the Florida Society of Psychotherapists. He has a broad range of experience working extensively with families and professionals in the schools, in private practice, and as a trainer and sales representative for The Psychological Corporation and Harcourt Assessment. Thousands of mental health professionals, educators, and parents have experienced his quick humor, and insightful techniques in workshops that receive excellent reviews.
Dr. Frame is currently licensed in Colorado as both a Licensed Professional Counselor, and as a School Psychologist. He received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University, his M.A. from Western Michigan University, and his B.A. from Denison University. He has one adopted son who is now 25 years old.
