Jeannine Zoppi is a Clinical Psychologist licensed in New York and New Jersey. Dr. Zoppi received her doctorate from Seton Hall University and completed post-doctoral internship and fellowship training at the Karen Horney Institute in New York City.
Dr. Zoppi is a certified School Psychologist and has been trained as an Expert Witness/Expert Evaluator through the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services. She has worked with various patient populations across a variety of mental health settings, including those in the foster care system and with homeless youth at Covenant House.
Dr. Zoppi serves as Member-at-Large to the Executive Board of the New Jersey Psychological Association (NJPA), NJPA Affiliate Caucus Chair and Chair of the NJPA Public Education Anti- Bullying Committee, and is Past-President of Essex-Union County Association of Psychologists.
She is also a member of NJPA’s Insurance Committee and Conference Committee. Dr. Zoppi is a member of the American Psychological Association’s Leadership Institute for Women in Psychology Class of 2011-2012.
She has presented on the topic of adoption at various local and national conferences, including those sponsored by the National Council for Adoption, the Adoption Initiative, Adoptive Parents Committee and Concerned Persons for Adoption. She is currently in private practice in Caldwell, NJ where she specializes in the treatment of adoption issues, adult survivors of childhood abuse and PTSD.
